About Me

My name is A.J. Lipke; I am a Language and International Health major, minoring in psychology in the Clemson class of 2023. Throughout my undergraduate career I have learned about the importance of intersectionality as a focal point of advocacy and health care delivery. This means that I have worked to center my research and coursework around advocating for sexual and reproductive healthcare for all people through intentionally focusing on marginalized and underserved communities. This has been a process of continual learning and has impacted every aspect of my life, personal and professional. At Clemson University, I have had the privilege of being a student leader and activist for issues impacting LGBTQIA+ and female-identified people through my Planned Parenthood Generation Action position. My psychology minor has provided me with a holistic perspective on how to approach health disparities while understanding the context and needs of the individual. I hope to secure a public health position advocating for reproductive justice and sexual health before getting a dual Master's in Public Health and Master's in Social Work (MPH-MSW). I hope to do research that promotes sexual health and wellbeing for queer and gender expansive populations.
