Presentation on the American Healthcare System
I prepared this script and presentation on the American healthcare system as a final project for
an upper level health course. I detailed the historical developments of the U.S. healthcare
system and analyzed healthcare in the upstate SC region. This helped me exercise my skills
and knowledge as it relates to healthcare functioning on both a national and regional level.
Having an in-depth understanding of the various interacting facets of healthcare is crucial in
order to participate in public health research, education, and promotion.

Int. French Writing Assignment
This piece written for an intermediate level French course was a personal, descriptive piece about my family relationships. I was very honest during this assignment, which was given shortly after the passing of my grandfather, and in a way I think it helped me process this loss. My professor gave me very encouraging feedback; I remember he told me that he thought my family would be very proud of me. I feel very proud of this piece because it was formative in my French learning process; the positive feedback gave me encouragement to continue working
hard to become bilingual, a skill I am very proud of.
